What does a desk at The Tribe include?

If you are booking a hotdesk, you will have use of the desk and chair and our high speed fibre Wi-Fi.

You will also be able to help yourself to our tea and coffee facilities in the kitchen. You can use our microwave too should you wish to heat up your lunch.

*Please note: you are liable for your own property.

What’s the procedure for booking a space?

If you would like to discuss booking a hotdesk in our office space, please get in touch to discuss your requirements and we can take the process from there.

What are the opening hours?

Our opening hours for hot desking are Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

If you would like to book our space for use outside of these hours please contact Stacey to discuss.

Can I just pop by or should I make an appointment?

You are welcome to drop in on the off chance that we have availability but we cannot guarantee you a desk if you have not pre-booked. To avoid disappointment please do book your desk in advance.

I am a man. Can I work at The Tribe?

The Tribe has been created to support female entrepreneurs to start, grow and scale their businesses. Our offering is specifically designed to meet their needs and provide a space for them to thrive. Feel free to enquire if you need a desk but it all depends on our capacity on a given day as we do prioritise the women who need our space.

How do I pay for my desk?

Once you have emailed Stacey to enquire about availability and you have booked your desk, you will be sent a payment link to pay for your desk. Payments for day passes are processed by SUMUP. Payments for monthly memberships are processed by GoCardless. Your booking will not be confirmed until you have paid for your desk which must be done in advance.

Unfortunately, we do not accept cash payments.

Is tea and coffee provided?

Yes. We provide free refreshments for your enjoyment including tea, coffee and water.

Will I be able to make phonecalls?

We understand phone calls will need to be made and that’s okay. Please take others into consideration and do not push the anti-social boundaries.

We do not have any dedicated phone booths you can use but we do have a meeting room that be hired for calls that require privacy. The cost of this is £15 per hour or £30 for the morning, £30 for the afternoon and £60 for the day.

Do I need insurance?

The Tribe coworking space is a secured office with limited access. However, you are liable for your own property and The Tribe cannot be held responsible for any issues that arise.

Can I register my company to the address?

At this time it is not possible to register your business at our address.

Can I print and scan?

We do not currently have a printer or scanner in the office

Do you have meeting rooms for members to use?

Yes we do have a private meeting room. This can be hired for a morning session (09.30-13.00) for £30, for an afternoon session (13.30-17.00) for £30, or by the hour for £15 per hour.

We also have a projector that you can use for your meetings.

Is there onsite parking available?

Yes, we have free onsite parking available.

Can I leave my belongings?

If you have rented a hot desk for the day and need to pop out, you may leave your belongings on your desk but please take everything with you at the end of the day.

If you have a monthly membership, please talk to Stacey about leaving your belongings on your desk.

We ask that you are respectful of other users of the space so please keep belongings to a minimum and do not allow them to build up on the floor or around your desk.

Can I bring my dog?

No sadly not. We cannot accommodate dogs at The Tribe. We are not being mean, Stacey is allergic to dogs.

How do I cancel my booking?

We understand that needs change so we have made the cancelling of daily bookings as easy as possible.

Daily desk users can cancel their booking by email. They must give 48 hours' notice to cancel a booking. If less than 48 hours' notice is given, the cancellation will not be authorised and no refund will be provided.
