What does a desk at The Tribe include?

If you are booking a hotdesk, you will have use of the desk and chair.

If you have a personal desk, you will have use of the desk and chair and will be able to bring and store your own desktop computer*.

*Please note: you are liable for your own property.

What’s the procedure for booking a space?

If you would like to discuss booking a hotdesk or opting for a personal desk in our office space, please get in touch to discuss your requirements and we can take the process from there.

What are the opening hours?

Our general hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Can I just pop by or should I make an appointment?

At the Tribe we only have a small number of desks. To avoid disappointment please do book your desk in advance. You are welcome to drop in on the off chance but we cannot guarantee you a place if you have not pre-booked.

I am a man. Can I work at The Tribe?

The Tribe has been created for female entrepreneurs so our members are predominantly female. However, we do welcome everyone and men will be considered on a case by case basis. Gender is not the determining factor. We strongly believe that your vibe attracts your tribe. And this is what is most important for us.

How do I pay for my desk?

Payments for desks are made through our booking system which is run by Coherent. Payments are processed by Go Cardless as a direct debit payment.

Unfortunately, we do not accept cash payments.

Is tea and coffee provided?

Yes. We provide free refreshments for your enjoyment including tea, coffee and water.

Will I be able to make phonecalls?

We understand phone calls will need to be made and that’s okay. Please take others into consideration and do not push the anti-social boundaries.

Unfortunately, we do not currently have any private or dedicated spaces for making phone calls or zoom calls.

Do I need insurance?

The Tribe coworking space is a secured office with limited access. However, you are liable for your own property and The Tribe cannot be held responsible for any issues that arise.

Can I register my company to the address?

If you have a personal desk at The Tribe you are more than welcome to register to our office address.

Can I print and scan?

We do not have facilities for printing and scanning at The Tribe currently. If enough of our members require this facility, we will, of course, look to offer this.

Do you have meeting rooms for members to use?

No, unfortunately, we do not have any dedicated meeting rooms. However, if you wish to arrange a meeting at The Tribe please talk to us and we will double-check the bookings that day and see if we can accommodate you in our smaller office. There will be a charge for this.

Is there onsite parking available?

No, unfortunately, we don't offer onsite parking. There is a small car park less than a minute's walk away at the following address:

North Street

There are plenty of other carparks within easy walking distance.

Can I leave my belongings?

If you have a personal desk you are welcome to bring your desktop pc into the office. You can also leave any belongings that you may need on your desk.

*Please note: you are liable for your own property.

Hot desk users can leave belongings on their desk during the day, but we request you take everything with you at the end of the day.

Can I bring my dog?

No sadly not. We cannot accommodate dogs at The Tribe.

How do I cancel my membership?

We understand that needs change, and that's why we keep it month to month. If you need to cancel, please provide written notice that includes your move-out date, and we will walk you through the rest. Please note that 30 days notice is required as stated in the Terms & Conditions.

Is the Tribe COVID-Secure?

We are adhering to the current government guidelines and we take the health and safety of our members very seriously. An enhanced cleaning programme is in place.
