What does a desk at The Tribe include?

If you are booking a hotdesk, you will have use of the desk and chair.

If you have a personal desk, you will have use of the desk and chair and will be able to bring and store your own desktop computer*.

*Please note: you are liable for your own property.

What’s the procedure for booking a space?

If you would like to discuss booking a hotdesk or opting for a personal desk in our office space, please get in touch to discuss your requirements and we can take the process from there.

What are the opening hours?

Our opening hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Can I just pop by or should I make an appointment?

At the Tribe we only have a small number of desks. To avoid disappointment please do book your desk in advance. You are welcome to drop in on the off chance but we cannot guarantee you a place if you have not pre-booked.

I am a man. Can I work at The Tribe?

The Tribe has been created to support female entrepreneurs to start, grow and scale their businesses. Our offering is specifically designed to meet their needs and provide a space for them to thrive. That said, we do not exclude men and are open to bookings from men should we have the capacity.

How do I pay for my desk?

Once you have emailed Stacey to enquire about availability and you have booked your desk, you will be sent a payment link to pay for your desk. Payments are processed by SUMUP. You booking will not be confirmed until you have paid for your desk which must be done in advance.

Unfortunately, we do not accept cash payments.

Is tea and coffee provided?

Yes. We provide free refreshments for your enjoyment including tea, coffee and water.

Will I be able to make phonecalls?

We understand phone calls will need to be made and that’s okay. Please take others into consideration and do not push the anti-social boundaries.

Unfortunately, we do not currently have any private or dedicated spaces for making phone calls or zoom calls.

Do I need insurance?

The Tribe coworking space is a secured office with limited access. However, you are liable for your own property and The Tribe cannot be held responsible for any issues that arise.

Can I register my company to the address?

At this time it is not possible to register your business at our address.

Can I print and scan?

We do not have facilities for printing and scanning at The Tribe currently. If enough of our members require this facility, we will, of course, look to offer this.

Do you have meeting rooms for members to use?

No, unfortunately, we do not have any dedicated meeting rooms.

Is there onsite parking available?

No, unfortunately, we don't offer onsite parking. There is a small car park less than a minute's walk away at the following address:

North Street

There are plenty of other carparks within easy walking distance.

Can I leave my belongings?

If you have a personal desk you are welcome to bring your desktop pc into the office. You can also leave any belongings that you may need on your desk. We do ask that you are respectful of other users of the space so please keep belongings to a minimum and do not allow them to build up on the floor or around your desk.

*Please note: you are liable for your own property.

Hot desk users can leave belongings on their desk during the day, but we request you take everything with you at the end of the day.

Can I bring my dog?

No sadly not. We cannot accommodate dogs at The Tribe.

How do I cancel my membership?

We understand that needs change so we have made the cancelling of daily bookings and monthly memberships as easy as possible.

Monthly desk users who have signed up to a monthly rolling contract can cancel their monthly membership by emailing written confirmation of cancellation at any time and the membership will end on the last day of that month.

Daily desk users can cancel their booking by email.. They must give 24 hours notice to cancel a booking. If less than 24 hours notice is given, the cancellation will not be authorised and no refund will be provided.

Is the Tribe COVID-Secure?

We are adhering to the current government guidelines and we take the health and safety of our members very seriously. Social distancing and an enhanced cleaning programme are in place.
