Back in 2024, I teamed up with Fran Minifie to launch a publication for women in Devon. Both of us work extensively with in women in business and female entrepreneurs, helping them to start and grow businesses through the support that we offer.
I speak to countless women who tell me they wish that they could join the Tribe, but they simply live too far away to travel to our coworking space in Totnes on a regular basis. The community we have built, the knowledge sharing that takes place, the collaborations that result from working in the space are proceless and i wanted more women to have access to this. Whilst I am not yet in a position to open more coworking spaces for women in Devon, I realised that I could harness my background in journalism to launch a magazine that could help to support women in a similar way, albeit without the in person connection.
So we launched Athena Magazine, a FREE digital magazine for women in business in Devon featuring female-led local businesses sharing their tips, advice, experience, perspectives and stories.
